2-5 October 2018

Programme

HVTT15’s broadly composed programme will ensure that each visitor, at any time, can find something he fancies. The specialist will be able to exchange ideas with peers during sessions strongly aimed at technology, while the transport & logistics entrepreneur can check his needs against new developments; the government representative will gain insights in the way other countries handle goods transport. HVTT15 ’s programme will also offer opportunities for an active dialogue between the various stakeholders.

The programme comprises 3 plenary sessions, 24 parallel sessions, 2 young talent sessions, 8 side events and a technical visit on Friday 5 October. All three congress days, apart from the plenary sessions, also offer three parallel sessions or a side event at all times.

PLENARY SESSION: Economy on wheels. Fast changes, slow structures

WILLEM BURGER ROOM
This plenary session addresses the main theme of the conference: fast changes, slow structures. Three different high level speakers from different backgrounds (science, practice, policy development) come to talk about the clash between fast and slow changes from their perspectives by using firm examples. What does a society in transition demand from organizations? How do they deal with insecurities? What does that mean for road haulage and truck vehicle technology? How can parties meet and mutually reinforce?
